Cobalt Foods
Cobalt mainly comes from animal sources such as clams, oysters, liver, kidney, meats, and dairy products. Animal sources include leafy green vegetables.
Cobalt Deficiency
Cobalt deficiency is not very common, but may occur in vegetarians. As cobalt is a component of vitamin b12, anemia is a common from inadequate intake. It is also associated with symptoms such as weakness, sore tongue, nausea, confusion, headache, and poor memory.
